Why would two retired grandparents start a chocolate business? Mainly for the 12 reasons pictured on this page!

Our custom of giving chocolate letters at Christmas began on a Dutch Caribbean island—we lived there for 22 years, raising our three children while working with an international broadcasting company. Later, we were transferred to Europe where, for the next 14 years, we continued the chocolate letter tradition through the kindness of Elise, a lovely lady in the Netherlands.

In 2007, we returned to the states. We planned to continue our chocolate giving, but a growing family (three children, their spouses, and 14 grandchildren [plus one more on the way!]) and shrinking paycheck forced us to be creative. Thus, G-J Choco-Lets was born! We hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor.
